A side project bag label by Kimberly - Building Block, based in Tokyo and designs for Honda's Advanced Studio.
Sometimes we would like to search for a simple bag for work and also causal mix and match. we usually have this thinking : "um, it can't be made of cheap material like canvas, nylon, etc. So we will choose leather.", "it can't be too simple cos nth to show off", "i don't want a big logo or label tagged on or embossed on". Well, finally you may not find a suitable one......
But if you have a look of the bags of building block, i am sure you can find one, or more, from this label!! what i call maximal in minimal is, usually the strings, tassels and locks on bag are small in size. However, for building block, they make them in big to give more value to the bag. What minimal is the design of the bag. Simple and clean design, just using one piece or two pieces of leather, several stitching and no metal elements. So natural and original.
